Disabilities come in as many different forms and capabilities as there are people. So don't judge yourself if you aren't like someone else or allow others to put you in a box of expectations. We are all different and are different at different stages and times of our disability.
One of the most challenging parts of having a disability is that sometimes you have to face life's challenges alone. Each of us and our family dynamics are different as are our health issue. In addition you may face a health issue that others can't fully understand. Could be as easy as common as males not understanding females. You have to work to understand and work to develop a clear understanding.
